Development of good inter-personal relationships
The project is carried out by various activities such as weekly class hours, thematic days and introduction of rules for non-violent behaviour. The two main goals in the project are to reduce and prevent violence among schoolchildren and to integrate all romany schoolchildren.

Description of evaluation method
Ad I.: Survey for schoolchildren and teachers, analysis of survey
Ad II.: External evaluation by the Pedagogical Institute: Internal evaluation based on monitoring and teachers’, children’s and parents’ reports
Description of main findings
Results Ad I.:
- The awareness about the type of violence and about the appropriate reactions to them has increased among schoolchildren, teachers and parents,
- violence among schoolchildren has decreased, remains mostly verbal violence.
Ad II.:
- Introduction of Romany coordinator helps overcome language and cultural barriers.
- Integration of all Romany schoolchildren has contributed to a faster learning of Slovenian language and to more frequent interactions among Romany and non-Romany schoolchildren.
- Amore intensive cooperation between teachers and Romany parents.
- A better knowledge of new expert approaches in the area of forms and methods of work for all schoolchildren as well as in the area social justice.
Relevance or implication
Ad I.: The significance of weekly class hours, keeping rules of non-violent behaviour, continuing activities in the area of inter – relationship improvement.
Ad II.: Better awareness of all in connection with the need of integration of all Romany schoolchildren. Continuation of the activities within the innovation project with NEIS (ga. Komljanc).
Programme of the integration of ethnic groups was carried out also at PS Škocjan, and PS Semič
